Home is where
the Hand is
A stone’s throw away from Wimbledon Common, our homely pub transports you to village life, away from the hustle and bustle of busy London. Our pub dates back to 1835, originally a bakery (you can still dine in the old oven area), The Hand has continually offered a fantastic selection of beers and hearty food to all who visited.
We’re famous for our home-made comfort food and real ales. Our new summer menu is packed full of fresh dish, colourful salads and of course..our famous pies are a one of a kind and can be enjoyed out in our beautiful garden.
We more than encourage you to bring along your four legged friends, complementary dog biscuits and the chance to be our coveted ‘Dog of the Day’ make it the perfect pit stop for owners and pampered pooches alike.
We’re delighted to announce that we are taking part in the government’s new Eat Out to Help Out campaign. Receive 50% off (up to £10 per person) on your food and non-alcoholic drink orders every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday during August. Perfect for those summer lunches or dinners in the best pub and courtyard in Wimbledon – whether it’s with friends or a long-awaited date night.
Andrew and the team look forward to welcoming you!
