At the Hand in Hand, we pride ourselves on being a pub for the local community who come together at big occasions. Nothing screams community spirit louder than the Wimbledon tennis championships which is just a stone’s throw away from us, just across Wimbledon common.

The Hand in Hand is the place to catch a real taste of the Wimbledon championships, as we broadcast all of the televised matches across our 6 TV’s. For those lucky enough to attend the matches, we are situated less than a half hour walk from the All England Lawn Tennis Club, giving you the perfect opportunity to pop in for a bite to eat before the balls start flying.

You can be safe in the knowledge that we can ‘serve’ you the highest quality food, and the most refreshing drinks throughout the whole tournament, especially with our Sipsmith tree bar in the front garden, which will be with us throughout the Wimbledon tennis championships.

Elzie and her team will be busy in the kitchen each morning, ready to ‘serve’ you up a meal fit for all the tennis stars. The perfect start to the day, as you prepare for many hours of watching tennis. The food will continue all day, every day, so if you’re joining us at the Hand make sure you leave some space for food you’ll be sure to ‘love’.

Watching that ball bounce back and forth is going to be a tiresome job, but someone has to do it. Make sure you’re keeping hydrated in the Wimbledon fashion – whether it’s a bottle of bubbly, an ice and a slice, or a pint of the good stuff, Andrew and his team will be there to sort you out. Plus, our friends at Sipsmith will be hosting a bar outside the pub throughout the duration of the tournament. What could be better than ‘deuce’ bars?
